Carpets' Collection
Carpets' Washing
Within a few days from collection, and during the whole year, we wash your carpets with care, using the appropriate method for each one with the right detergents. The advanced machinery, the hypo allergic and anti moth detergents, ensure excellent cleaning and allergies avoidance.
Carpets' Draining
After washing, your carpets are drained in electronically controlled centrifugal machines, resulting to the water's removal in more than 95%. As a consequence, the slightest possibility of discoloring is excluded.
Carpets' Hanging
After your carpets have been drained they are hanged separately in hangers in sheltered places, in order to avoid both getting wet and discoloring from the sun radiation.
Carpets' Folding – Packaging
Furthermore, your carpets are being checked, minor repairs are made and then we proceed to their folding and packaging.
Carpets' Storage
When the time has come to store your carpets, turn them upside down and leave them in that state for a week. As a result, all the excess dirt that has been accumulated in the core of the carpet will drop on the floor. This dirt can be catastrophic because, just by walking the grains can damage the wool which will be probably cut off. Then, turn them back up and clean them with a vacuum cleaner. Store them into a nylon or a cotton bag, and if you choose to use cam-fora you should first wrap it in a cloth or paper because there is danger of discoloration. The carpets should be folded tightly and should be always stored horizontally, otherwise, they will be wavy when you unfold them the following year.
